“Kipp” is clearly structured as an object; yet visually it is a constructivist sculpture. A special position is occupied by the pictorial elements rising up the wall at various heights, which can be placed as desired in the corners of the room, next to door frames or above the floor. At the same time, viewers who are less interested in investigations of space can approach the work more spontaneously; intense colourism is appealing as such. (Markku Valkonen)
