The Edition “Sara’s Question” is based on a conversation the artist had with a friend on how the peacock flower blooms and what it would be like to experience the colors together once the isolation caused by the pandemic will be lifted. Jorinde Voigt has for the first time created colorful geometric forms, that also represent the shifting of inter-human interaction. The hand-printed silkscreens are extended with gold leaf and cut outs, that open up the single works and give room for the eye to what lays beyond the shapes on paper.
