With “12th Berlin Postage Stamp Exhibition”, Klotzek is transplanting an exhibition in honor of the design of the postage stamp, which has been an important element of communication over the past hundred years and now has a niche existence, in the Peter Edel Cultural Center at the eastern borough of Weissensee in Berlin. The fictitious stamps shown refer to an anniversary of the brick guild (Berlin’s more than 100 year old tenements consist of such) or to the musician Frank Zappa who played a major role in the music scene in the former GDR.
