David Polzin
*1985, Henningsdorf, Germany (former GDR)
He lives and works in Berlin, Germany
David Polzin’s art deals with life in the former GDR and specifically with the history of design and architecture in East- and West-Germany. Looking at the connection between the different political regimes and aesthetic decisions, one might use a sculpted chair to exemplify. Together with Wilhelm Klotzek, Polzin founded the artist collective Klozin in 2008. His sculptures and installations has been shown in Museum für bildende Künste Leipzig, Neuer Berliner Kunstverein, LAMOA Los Angeles, Heidelberger Kunstverein, Kunsthalle Osnabrück and others.
