MAPPINGS (2017) is a series of twelve prints on paper which each map out, letter by letter, a word or phrase that begins and ends with the same letter. For example: Cul de Sac, Memory of a Dream, Lonely Street Hearthbreak Hotel, Ocupado… The closed circuits formed by the black lines connecting the gray letters also allude in some way to the meaning of the text. Small gold circles mark the outset and culmination of the pathways.
