Rosemarie Trockel
Entenanhänger, 1998
Rosemarie Trockel’s “Entenanhänger” from 1998 consists of a necklace with pendant, depicting a Donald Duck figurine. Donald Duck is being “strangled” by the attached necklace, while having an erection. All male creatures can have this reaction, when hung by the neck. There are also 2 offset printed postcards of a duck, one with silkscreened feathers and the other plucked. The silkscreened feathers are printed using a “wet and view” ink, disappearing when moistened and reappearing when dry. Additionally, there is an offset-printed stamp with the image of duck. All components come in a custom made embossed box.
